Community Workshops
Art Therapy Lab public programs are virtual, community-based workshops designed by art therapists.
Public programs are for:
Individuals seeking creative reflection and connection
Artists and makers interested in art as a reflective practice
Practitioners curious about community-based approaches
Intended to create accessible spaces for reflective art-making, relational dialogue, and creative exploration, these workshops emphasize creative process, personal reflection, and shared inquiry. Participants are invited to engage materials, imagery, and conversation as tools for connection and meaning-making.
No prior art experience is required.

Paris Collage Collective Virtual Studio Series
Experience collage as therapy and connect with people from around the world in this virtual studio series of workshops designed by Art Therapy Lab and Graduate Art Therapists-in-Training at the School of Visual Arts NYC. Free to attend.
Time: 11:00 EST / 17:00 CET. 2 hours.

The Art of Being Human — a four-week virtual collage-as-therapy group
Starts Thursday, April 9th, meets biweekly
This group is a supportive space to build connections with others and explore what it means to be human through the medium of collage. Within a small group, we will reflect on creative burnout, uncertainty, expression, and the practice of simply being in the unknown. Each session offers an art therapy prompt designed to nurture self-expression, visual dialogue, and reflection.
Date + Format: Biweekly, Thursday April 9 - May 21 (four-weeks) via Zoom
Time: 12:00 - 1:15pm EST / 18:00 - 19:15 CET
